Marketing to the Next Generation of Cable Consumers

CTAM of the Carolinas sponsored their third panel this year focusing on marketing to the next generation of
cable consumers and understanding the challenges and opportunities facing the cable industry when trying
to reach the younger demographic. The panel included industry insiders from Time Warner Cable, ESPN and
BIAP plus several students from the College of Mass Communications and Information Studies at the
University of South Carolina. The panel was attended by over 70 people.

1st Annual CTAM of the Carolinas Golf Tournament

The 1st Annual CTAM of the Carolinas Golf Tournament was a huge success with over 50 participants battling it out on the linx. The tournament was followed by dinner and door prizes. Winner of the tournament (shooting a strong 53 and winning by
8 strokes) was (L to R) Russell Cooper, Director Affiliate Sales/Eastern Region, The Inspiration Networks, Frank Hosea, Jack Stanley, President Time Warner Cable- Greensboro, Bill McCall, Director Affiliate Sales/Southeast Region, The Inspiration Networks.

NCCTA Summer Meeting Panel- August 7, 2007 recap

CTAM of the Carolinas held their second event of the year at the NCCTA Joint Summer Meeting on August 7th
in Asheville, NC. The topic, "Voice Services in Cable – from Digital Phone to Pivot" proved to be a success with
over 100 attendees. Speakers Brian Kelly, Time Warner Cable Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales
for the Carolinas Region and Mike Pacifico, Cox Communications Executive Director of Voice Marketing, shared
their expertise on how voice services, particularly the new wireless service Pivot, are changing the dynamics
of the cable industry.
