CTAM Carolinas Holiday Party

CTAM Carolinas celebrated the holiday season with a fantastic get together at The Sunset
Club in Charlotte, NC on December 10th. Attendees brought a toy to donate to Toys for
Tots. During the event, CTAM Carolinas donated $5000 to Time Warner Cable’s Carolina
Region for their charity of choice. ‘Tis the season for giving!

How to Market to Today’s Savvy Consumer in High Tech Times

CTAM Carolinas sponsored their third annual panel at a local university in November.
The topic focused on how to market and brand products and services to today’s tech
savvy consumer. The panel included George Douglas of Time Warner Cable- Carolina
Region and Hayes Tauber of ESPN. Both discussed how marketing has evolved yet the
basic principles remain. They touched on new mediums such as social media and its
affect on consumers. The panel was attended by over 160 people consisting of students,
faculty and CTAM members.

3rd Annual Golf Tournament
May 18, 2009

CTAM Carolinas and WICT Carolinas hosted their 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at the
Birkdale Golf Club in Huntersville, NC on May 18th. The event had a total of 109 players
representing Time Warner Cable and Charter plus 38 programmers and vendors. The
Tournament featured an 18 hole best-ball tournament, cocktail reception and an
awards dinner.

Holiday Party - December 2008

The 2nd Annual CTAM Carolinas/WICT Golf Tournament was a huge success
with over 50 participants battling it out on the links on October 7, 2008.
The tournament was followed by dinner and door prizes. The winners shot
a strong 59 and won for the second consecutive year.

Video On Demand panel at the North Carolina Cable and Telecommunications Association in
Greensboro, NC

CTAM of the Carolinas held their first event of the year at the NCCTA Winter Meeting on February 21st in Greensboro, NC. The topic, "Video on Demand" proved to be a success with close to 100 attendees. Speakers, David Marshall, Time Warner Cable Vice President of Marketing for the Greensboro Divsion and and Caroline Brown, Sr. Director on Demand and ITV Product Management at Comcast Corporate, shared their expertise on how to retain and attract new customers.
